We shot this music video in one of those 'end of the world' seaside places in Kent. For a South East London ex-kid, these places are so gourmet, bringing up a complex blend of feelings, memories and emotional flavours.
But that's not why this video makes me smile.
It was another wonderful shoot to have the privilege to work on. An excellent team, as always, from 4th Floor Creative. Bad Sounds were the perfect blend of imaginative and genial, but again that's also not why I'm smiling.
It's because of that bedroom scene, one minute into the video. That's Mike Marchlewski's sad little rental bedroom, which he let us paint a totally different colour for the shoot.
Sometime soon after, Mike the talented cinematographer moved to Portland, OR. Was he in fact running away from his landlord?
